June 12th & 13th - Level 1

September 11th & 12th 2010 - Level 2

 

The Island Sailing Club, Reading is affiliated to the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and is one of the RYA Recognised Training Establishments.

The club tries to run two Level One courses each year for complete beginners to dinghy sailing. These are generally put on just after each of the Club Open Days (in May and August).

The club has also run Level Two courses for our members in the past and may do so again if sufficient interest is shown.

A short course for members introducing the safety boat, powerboat handling and assisting sailors in difficulty is also available for members.

Please note: Courses will only run if numbers are sufficient. Places are limited, therefore you should pre-book your place on a course by speaking to the Training Principal, or in their absence the Commodore. Places will only be confirmed on receipt of a booking form accompanied by full payment.
