Junior's Section

The Island Sailing Club, Reading has always been a family club.

There are a number of activities, both on and off the water for junior members.

These include special junior races and series as well as the Annual Junior Fun Day. There is also a Christmas Party every year for members' children and friends.

For those juniors who are not yet old enough to sail the clubhouse has a number of toys, games and books to keep them entertained along with outdoor toys and a sandpit for the summer.

The club has a number of "Oppies" - a very safe starter sailing boat for junior beginners and there is always someone willing to go out in the Safety Boat to give advice and guidance.
